he's amazing. so, amazing.
during our recent trip to hang out at navy pier. the kid: mommy look at that biiiiiggggg water. what's it called? a lake, right? me: yes, baby. it's lake michigan. the kid: look at all these biiiiigggg buildings... it looks just like new york city. me: yes, baby. it does look like the new york sky line. but it's the chicago sky line. the kid: yup, it's the chicago sky line. it's pretty cool, right? me: yes, baby. it is pretty cool. this kid never ceases to amaze me. what three year old makes a reference like that? he's amazing. and if you know him, then you know that's a totally unbiased statement on my part. -

I should be sleep rigjt now… But instead I’m staring at the wall. So sleepy. So-so sleepy. My body is gonna hate me in the morning… I’ll end up drugging it with a ton od caffeine and it’ll hate me even more until it crashes. Apologies in advance poor body.
